Tarot Poetry
by Michael Gerald Sheehan

Inanna's Song

Peace be unto you my son,
Peace be unto you my son:
All good things must come -
All good things must come.

Daughters of the moon we have won,
Daughters of the moon we have won:
Now his mind is still -
Now his mind is still.

Now there are no questions at all,
Now there are no questions at all:
Now he's waking up -
Now he's waking up.

Peace be unto you my son,
Peace be unto you my son:
Peace be unto you my son -
Peace be unto you my son.

II - The High Priestess

Fear is rooted in false information. False information always comes from outside sources. Outside sources which promote and profit by fear-driven behavior will deny the existence and value of our inner feelings. The lesson of the High Priestess is that the wisdom of life lives within us, and this wisdom is accessed by honoring our feelings.
