Tarot Poetry

I'm Coming After You

After years of painting the town,
Faking love and fooling around,
Doing all the things that young men do,
I'm coming after you - it's true:
I'm coming after you.

From beyond the shadow of doubt,
Now that I have figured it out,
Like a bolt of lightning out of the blue,
I'm coming after you - it's true:

All around the world, they say that love is dying.
Even in my dreams, I hear the children crying.
Everybody knows that someone must be lying,
But I've thought it through and the best thing to do
Is go for what's true: I'm coming after you.

Now I know that love's the only thing that's real
And nothing less will do: I'm coming after you.

After years of women and wine,
Playing god and wasting my time,
Searching for the answers without a clue,
I'm coming after you - it's true:
I'm coming after you.

From beyond the whisper of fear,
Now that I am sober and clear,
Like the sea at sunrise, shining and new,
I'm coming after you - it's true:
I'm coming after you.

Our intentions create our reality. Those who believe they have no power create spiritual prisons by intending to protect themselves from what they fear. The lesson of the Magician is that the soul, by it's very nature, creates without effort what we hold in our consciousness.
